Post Furlough responses Web page letter

9th April 2020

Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme (Furlough)

I refer to our previous communication regarding the above and want to thank everyone for the quick responses – this is very much appreciated.

We still have a small number who have not responded and are doing all we can to get those to respond to our letter.
However, as the majority have responded, I want to re-assure you that all those employees are being placed on furlough on 6th April 2020.

Your options (1 or 2) have been fed into payroll and calculations are being made. This is a big task and we are doing all we can to ensure this is accurate next week and visible on your payslip.

We are aware that there are some small adjustments that need to be paid for one or two people who were sick prior to the break and these will be handled separately.

I would also draw your attention to the two Bank Holidays that fall in this Furlough period. These are being paid at the 80% Furlough rate and will be added back into your holiday entitlement.

In the meantime, I hope you all stay safe and look forward to seeing you all soon.

Your sincerely,

Chris Mason
